- This blog is intended to present my latest activities regarding photography to friends and people who are interested in this. Currently I work as an IT Manager in Hamburg. I am not a graduated photographer, but more or less a lateral entrant. My interest in photography started in the late 80’s when one of my schoolmates, Ingo Loose, reported on his hobby enthusiastically. This was some kind of auditing for me. Slowly moving I discovered this activity. After school I worked in the layout and printing business additionally to the civilian service. Then I studied business informatics with focus on information management and marketing. So even without studying photography or media design I can nearly cover the 4 skills a photographer needs like the identification of a motif, the technical implementation with the camera; expertise in computer aided image processing, fine-art printing and (maybe later) marketing.
